Activity Method

 Anything which is carried out with a


purpose in a social environment
involving physical and mental action.
Such activities help in the establishment
of stimulating environment for creative
expression.
Types of Activities
Activities can be of three types:

 Exploratory – Knowledge getting


 Constructive – Experience getting
 Expressional – Presentation

Role of Teacher
 The teacher has got mature experience, deeper
and broader knowledge than the pupils.
 Provides suggestions and guidance at every
step.
 The teacher has to save the pupils from
faltering and floundering.
 The teacher should be a good prompter.
 He is a director and not a dictator.
 The teacher must be a keen observer and a true
sympathize.
