Figure 2 shows the effect of topography in the NPI in selected
municipalities. Majority of the interviewees from all the three selected municipalities stated that the Heath Center is not far from their houses, 75.8% in total. Almost all of the interviewees don’t have their own car, 90% in total. In fact, all the interviewees from Sto. Niño don’t have their private car. Most of the interviewees with a total of 86.2% take 1-10 minutes to reach the Health Center, either by walking or other means of public transportation. 90% of the interviewees from Amulung and 41.7% from Enrile said that their travel expenses to the Health Center has no cost whereas 90% of the interviewees from Sto. Niño and 58.3% from Enrile has 0-50 travel expenses to the health center, a total of 96.7% of interviewees spent under 50 pesos to get to the Health Center.
Therefore, basing from the data presented in Figure 2, wherein most of
the interviewees said that the Health Center is not far from their houses and that it only takes 0-10 minutes of travel time either by walking or other means of transportation and most of them spent only 0-50 pesos to get to the Health Center, we can conclude that topography does not affect the status of NPI in the selected municipalities.
