COVID Protocols
• All invited guests are expected to wear face mask and face shield
throughout the eucharistic celebration.
• Upon entering the Shrine, the guests are required to do the
following:
o Have their temperatures checked
o Sanitize with alcohol
o Fill-up the contact tracing form
o Step on the foot bath
• With the exception of the family of the ordinandi, we will enforce
the first come first serve basis as the church has a limited number
of seats in observance of physical distancing.
• Only the designated ushers/usherettes of the Shrine will guide the
guests to their seats.
• Inside the Shrine, everyone is expected to refrain from talking, long
conversations, and avoid physical contact for the sake of
maintaining the order and solemnity of the celebration. Likewise,
practice sneezing etiquette.
• To ensure order of the solemnity of the eucharistic celebration,
only the official photographers can take pictures. Avoid taking
selfies and especially groupie pictures. Everyone is expected to
take part in the flow of the ceremony.
• For the communion, this will be done row-by-row. The ushers will
again serve as guides for this purpose. Before receiving
Communion, guests are required to use alcohol.
• The picture taking will be done after the recessional in a proper
manner. Only the newly ordained priests and deacons,
concelebrating priests, bishop, and families can be included in the
picture taking.
