Module Multifile

Module for BIM Vision

This BIM Vision module allows to load and view multiple IFC files in one view. IFC files can have
different scales and units but should be drawn in the same coordinate system (same centre). All
added files will be rescaled to first opened file.

User interface
Module adds two new buttons in BIM Vision main menu. These buttons are active and can be used
only when an IFC file is already opened.

Add another IFC file

into the current
view.

View list of opened files.

Open dialog box

Use Shift or Ctrl keys in

open dialog box to select
many files at once.

File list window

Click to unload file. The unloaded

file will neither be shown in viewer
nor saved into BVF file.

You can also add

files from there.
When two or more files are loaded, the module adds a new option for IFC Structure object list –
Merge storeys.

Demo limitations
Demo allows to load only two IFC files in one view and has no opened files list.
