Print Head Warranty Statement

PF-03/PF-04/PF-05/PF-06/PF-10 Print Head Warranty Terms

Applies to purchases from 01/08/2019

1. This warranty applies to the Canon PF-03/PF-04/PF-05/PF-06/PF-10 series print

head products purchased in New Zealand from Canon New Zealand Limited
(Canon) or their authorised distributors, dealers, or retailers (Print Head).

2. Subject to the remainder of this Warranty Statement, Canon provides a

manufacturer’s warranty on Print Heads on the terms of the Canon Manufacturer’s
Warranty for Canon CBS Products for a period of:

a. 24 months, where the Print Head has been supplied bundled with the purchase
of a new Canon branded Large Format Printer (LFP); and

b. 12 months from the purchase of the Print Head when purchased either with a
new Canon Large Format Printer (in addition to the bundled Print Head) or
supplied separately.

3. When a Print Head is replaced under warranty by Canon, this does not restart the
warranty period. The replacement Print Head will be under warranty for the
remainder of the initially purchased Print Head or 90 days, whichever is greater.

4. The warranty is for the Print Head itself and does not allow for any labour for fitting
the Print Head, or compensation of any ink or maintenance cartridge consumed as
part of the failure or replacement of the Print Head. If the customer requests Canon
or their authorised distributors, dealers, or retailers to fit the Print Head, this will be
charged at the applicable labour rate at that time, along with any call out or travel
fees.

5. Canon reserves the right of inspection. Canon may elect upon receipt of the
warranty request to send a technician to assess the Print Head and printer to
ascertain the cause of the failure. If it is determined the Print Head has failed due
to any of the reasons listed under section 3 of the Canon Manufacturer’s Warranty
for Canon CBS Products, the customer will be liable for the labour and call out fees
as applicable at the time.

6. This warranty does not extend to any Print Head on which the original identification
marks or serial numbers have been defaced, removed or altered.

7. Defective Print Heads will become the property of Canon and will not be returned.
Second Hand Large Format Printer (LFP) Warranty Statement
Applies to purchases from 01/08/2019

1. This warranty statement supplements the Canon Manufacturer’s Warranty for

Canon CBS Products and applies to ex-demonstration, showroom and second-hand
Canon branded Large Format Printer products that are purchased in New Zealand
from Canon New Zealand Limited (Canon) or it’s authorised distributors, dealers, or
retailers (Second Hand LFP’s)

2. Canon will provide a manufacturer’s warranty for Second Hand LFP’s on the terms
of the Canon Manufacturer’s Warranty for Canon CBS Products for a period of 12
months from purchase of any Second Hand LFP. All other terms of the Canon
Manufacturer’s Warranty for Canon CBS Products apply unamended.
