1. How might the learning and development team determine which training
content to create and deliver internally? How would you recommend
evaluating potential external providers? What criteria would you use to decide
which third- party providers to partner with?

The training and development team should understand the learning requirements from
various sources like changing trends in the market, competitors' analysis, and future
learning requirements to develop their resources and equip them. Based on that, they
have an internal report and consider thoughts and suggestions from experts and senior
management. It helps in building modules for learning and assigning the right resources
for the training program, which is based on their current requirements and future
aspirations in career. The training content should be well managed with the required
topic, certain, sufficient industrial case studies, and have practical application. Proper
assessment to be there on all modules, which helps in determining the efficiency of the
training modules and improve and update modules periodically to refresh with new
requirements.

2. What might motivate employees to share their skills and knowledge on a


personal profile on the company’s social networking intranet portal? What
kind of incentives might you provide to encourage employees to share this
information?

Different things can motivate employees, like giving them a name and fame, To be
recognized among others, To be recognized as a person with most skills and
knowledge, giving them more contacts. Also, monetary benefits is a huge motivation,
like Promotion opportunities, gifts, and security of service.

Some incentives that can be provided are:


1. Include sharing and training activities
2. Recognizing the individual or team of the month
3. Promotion
4. Pay hike
5. Allowances

3. What measures in addition to turnover and employee complaints could be


used to evaluate the effectiveness of G4S’s training initiatives?
In addition to the ones mentioned above the following measures can be
adopted:
- Look through the training initiatives
