These sentences are the best examples of how ‘nosegay method/techniques’ work. In addition, by
omitting narrators, punctuations and so on, these sentences come to an account of ‘defference’ where
the subject is on a delay. We do not know exactly ‘who expresses or gives that imperative’. What know
then is only the tone of the imperative. However, because Derrida is much influenced by J.l Austin, some
of which could also be viewed from the perspective of Austin’s speech act. Exactly, these imperatives is
being actual (Perlocutionary) when they achive their goal. If they do not, they only address a locutionary
speech act. However, there are also differences in their ‘capacity of performing’.

In the first sentence, the speaker seems to have a distinguished address addressed against his/her
audience. So, its performing capacity is high. The same sense is catched up in the second sentence. This
utterance is happening in a certain miliu, for certain goal. Meanwhile, the third sentence should be
excluded from the previous two. It presents such a general truth. Everyone that walks under a hot sun
will experience as usual one experiences

The fourth sentence is just another. From the first sigh, it can be viewed from Derrida’s point of view,
since omitting the narrator, for instance. However, because the utterance specifies the object, it is
permormative. Pumpkin fritters is a specific naming. More specifically, it performs what the so-called
‘representamen’, in Piece’s logic.
