Match Me!

Verb Game
Directions: A card (with a verb on it) is given to each student. When directed by teacher, students
move around the room to find their match. These cards match past and present tense verbs. The
verbs also review irregular verbs, adding –ed, -d, -s, -es, -ies. The cards I’ve included are just a few
to get you started.
Variations:
(1) Use a timer and play beat the clock.
(2) Students find their partners without talking. Builds spelling & decoding skills.
