Impact of Technology to the Education of Grade 12 Students in La Verdad Christian School
A.Y. 2020-2021

Brief Introduction
Technology nowadays plays a vital role in our education system especially during this
time of the pandemic. It is a powerful tool that helps transform our educational learning.
Implementation of technology in our education helps close the gap between teachers and
students. Without technology, we couldn’t imagine how easier our education is these days.

Background and statement of the problem


For the past years that went by, technology changes a lot compare to before. As the 21 st
century era was regarded as the era for technology and information, the continuous improvement
of technology can be observed in everyday life as a lot of people depend on it. From work to
school activities, technology is clearly a part of everyone’s life and its absence can make the
work we do a lot more tedious and difficult. We utilize technology in every aspects of live
especially in education and studying. Through technology studying become a lot easier as it was
more convenient and accessible. With the usage of technology interactivity is also possible, and a
lot of students find it easier to understand lessons and the transfer of knowledge also become
faster. The purpose of this study is to distinguish the different impact of technology regarding
education, how does it affect students, and to give solutions and suggestions on how to maximize
or minimize its impact.

Research questions, aim and objectives


Hypothesis
This study proposes that technology has a great impact on the education of students.
Study design
This study will be a non-experimental research design. The researchers will not manipulate
the variables but will only measure the given variables. //
Study population and sampling
The researchers will conduct this study on the grade 12 students of La Verdad Christian
School. The population of this study is two hundred and fifty-five students from the twelfth
grade but only selected students will participate. The researchers will use stratified sampling in
selecting the representatives.

Data collection methods and instruments


The researchers are going to collect the data from representatives through the use of
survey questionnaires. The researchers are going to use a graph to interpret the data that will be
collected.
