Yes. I learned that strategic planning isn’t an overnight process. It would take up to 5
years to make every plan work out. The committee of the business has primary
functions. Reviewing long and short range plans, to review and approve major
acquisitions. Also they approve and monitor major projects, review and approve
sourcing strategies whether internal or external. Review adequacy of resource
allocation of resources with regards to time, personnel and equipment.

 What is the message you like most/learn most in this video? Why

Information System Strategy would help enterprise meet its objective. It’s very
important that a company will make an action plan into what they would like their
company to be in 5 years.

The explanation is very clear. Giving examples that are very relevant to enterprises.

I like that the presentor is very open about the idea that transitioning to new system
may involve risk. It is not ideal that for whatever changes we want to implement, it
can always lead to a positive outcome.

 The details like the importance information system strategy was given in bullet
form for us viewers to easily understand. It also contains the auditors
responsibilities. It’s important that these plans are synchronized to the
organizations strategies. The auditor should asses how the plans are taken into
account in the It strategy formulation. There should be requirements in place for
 updating and communication plans. There should also be processes for
monitoring and evaluating the requirements.

It is very short video, it may be great if they can provide additional information.
