With the sort of views that swell the romantic in you, and a menu that will have your tastebuds
leaping to life, The Coast Inn is just the place for lengthy leisurely lunches and evening meals of
epic proportions. Inside couldn’t be more welcoming or cosy; whether popping in for morning
coffee and a slice of naughty homemade cake, an indulgent afternoon cream tea, lunch or dinner,
you will be greeted by rustic wooden flooring, comfortable leather seating and a roaring open fire
in winter. In summer, diners are invited to move outside, take a seat in the garden and enjoy
watching the activities of the River Blackwater below.

The menu has been compiled using fine local produce, and the home-cooked dishes that make
their way to your table have a distinct seafood theme – unsurprising when you consider the close
proximity of the plentiful coastal waters. The catch of the day is a must-have, The Coast Inn’s
mussels are locally famous, and their fish and chips have been declared the best on the island on
more than one occasion.
