CRASH COURSE ON TIME MANAGEMENT FOR TEACHERS

Rationale:

Working as a teacher requires effective time management skills. Teachers need to balance the long term goals
of every steps in doing job, the immediate needs of the various groups of students and the large tasks of paper
works including modules that comes with every assignment. Between preparations about the required and
approved learning modalities, and preparing and checking modules and outputs of students cum other valuable
tasks of teachers in time of pandemic, teachers often feel that it is challenging to fit everything into the alloted
time frame.

Hence, this time management online session course is designed to help teachers to develop their inherent skills
in time management to achieve more effective results in less time and achieve their goals faster.

Objectives:

1. Identify teacher’s own problem how they manage time (productive or unproductive)
2. Make use of any opportunity to practice time estimation
3. Recognize the causes of procrastination and apply important techniques to overcome these.
4. Use practical techniques for organizing work

- The four time management quadrants
- How to apply the time matrix

C. Open forum (30 minutes)
