Overview: Mustang Pneumatic Module is an independent pneumatic section of a research instrument,

insuring that 25 psi is applied to a proprietary glass plate enclosing a high density destination well plate.
The complete parent instrument will serve as a drug discovery research tool for large Pharmaceutical
Manufacturers, engaged in PCR Gene Expression. The module consists of brass fittings, accumulators
and cylinders with home/away sensors, tubing, pneumatic valves, pressure sensors, and regulators. The
module will also utilize vacuum to secure the base of both the source and destination plates. 25-psi
positive pressure pneumatics assures that the proprietary high-density well plate remains flat during high
speed 8-tip on the fly non-contact micro dosing. This pressure regulator provides a fail-safe mechanical
control in addition to the on board electronic integral firmware.

ABI is looking to create an adaptive OEM platform of PCR Gene Expression Systems utilized by large
Pharma companies in Drug Discovery and Development.

Major OEM’s: MIT, Novartis, Millennium, Roche and other Big Pharma Companies.

Common Parker Components or System: Inline filters, pressure relief valves, regulators, check
valve, muffler clip, cylinders, solenoid valves, 3 way valves, bass fittings brass connectors, brass
elbows, and brass tee.

Parker Technical/Product Differentiation: Parker's product depth primarily and one point of purchase
for many components, allowing future integrated assembly. Parkers manufacturing processes to supply
complete module.
