THE SHADOW CURRICULUM: Lesson Plan

Writing a lesson plan is a bit like writing a recipe for cooking. What are
the ingredients or materials needed for the workshop, what is the method
or sequence of activities that your students will follow. On top of this you
need to think carefully about why you are doing the workshop and what
you want your students to learn.

Write a lesson plan for the Shadow Curriculum with the following
structure:

T itle
Keep it short, simple, catchy yet informative

Brief
Summarise (in one sentence if possible) what your lesson is asking your
students to do.

Ingredients
What materials will you use in your lesson. What will you provide. What
will you ask your students to provide.

Method
Explain the sequence of activities that you will lead your students through.
How long will each of them last.

Outcome
What do you want your students to learn in your lesson?
What are your students going to produce in your lesson?
