How to install Smart View?

Go to Navigator > Financial Reporting Center > Tasks > Open Workspace for Financial Reports > Tools >
Install > Smart View
How to create Adhoc Analysis for 5-Day forecast?

Go to Fusion Application > Cash Management > Cash Balances

Open Excel > Create new blank workbook

Go to SmartView tab > Click on Options > Enter the Shared Connections URL (i.e. https://<server>/workspace/SmartViewProviders)

Shared Connections URL:

The URL syntax is:

https://<server>/workspace/SmartViewProviders

Go to Navigator > Financial Reporting Center. Click the Tasks panel drawer and then click Financial Report> Open
Workspace for Financial Reports

Copy the URL from the new tab which opens up.

It may appear something like: https://<host>.fa.dc1.c9dev2.oraclecorp.com/workspace/index.jsp

Replace ‘index.jsp’ at the end with ‘SmartViewProviders’.

The URL should now look like: https:// <host>..fa.dc1.c9dev2.oraclecorp.com/workspace/SmartViewProviders

Provide this URL on the Smart View report template when prompted for the Shared Connections URL.

Smart View > Options > Shared Connection URL :

In the same SmartView tab > click on Panel

Enter the Login details

Under Shared Connections > Select Oracle Essbase
Expand Essbase_FA_Cluster > Expand CashPositionTrxApp
Expand CashPositionTrxApp >
Right Click on CashPositionTrxCube > Select Connect > More > Query Design
On the Point of View panel, move:

>> Time to the Columns section.

>> Legal Entity, Flow Indicator, Bank , Currency Type to the Rows section.

>> Apply Query

Move Time Dimension to left side
Repeat the steps for every dimension
Select the Currency: USD ( which you use the Report Currency in Specify Cash Position Setup UI)
All the Essbase cube dimensions will be displayed in the spreadsheet.

Click on Apply Query

Add the new row between Outflow and Inflow
