Avoid all possible contact with materials inside device. Conditions for safe storage Store in a clean area below 50°C 7 EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION. Personal protective equipment Respiratory protection (in case of contact with compound inside device) Where risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full-face particle respirator type N100 (US) or type P3 (EN 143) respirator cartridges as a backup to engineering controls. If the respirator is the sole means of protection, use a full-face supplied air respirator. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU) Hand protection (in case of contact with compound inside device) The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it Eye protection (in case of contact with compound inside device) Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166. Skin and body protection (in case of contact with compound inside device) Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place. Hygiene measures Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of the workday. 8 PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES Appearance Form Metal casing containing a solid compound and catalyst Colour White compound and a purple catalyst Safety data Flammability Flammable solid Incompatibility Incompatible with strong acids or bases Decomposition materials Aerosols and various gasses Density 1770 kg/m? ‘Raapace Propleon Prods BV.
