COVID-19 screening before being allowed to enter the
Desasiswa.

4. ANNOUNCEMENT FOR STAFF: WORK FROM HOME INITIATIVE

Following the announcement from the Registry Department dated 5 November 2020,
USM will continue the Work From Home (WFH) initiative effective 6 November 2020
until 20 November 2020. Nevertheless, the work from home initiative also takes into
account matters which need to be considered by all USM staff, among them:

 The WFH initiative is applicable to all staff. HOWEVER, those who are serving
as frontliners or having critical duties are required to come to work as usual in
order to facilitate work-related matters at the office. With regard to that, with the
prerogative of the Head of Department, frontliners and other staff who are
required to attend physically may be assigned their duties on a rotational basis.
 For all staff who reside in areas under the Conditional Movement Control Order
(CMCO), a special permission letter from the Head of Department needs to be
available to come to the office.
 Every department (PTJ) is required to continue operations as usual with a
minimal number of staff physically attending office.

5. REMINDER

Throughout the duration of the Recovery Movement Control Order (CMCO), all
students are urged to practice self-monitoring including physical distancing, wearing a
face mask, frequent washing of hands with soap and water or applying hand sanitizer
in addition to taking care of their health as preventive measures against being
infected.

If there are symptoms of COVID-19, a student needs to seek treatment at the nearest
medical facility. Early treatment can reduce the risk of the illness from becoming more
