To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Katherine Gebhardt (a.k.a.

Katie Jo). I have had the opportunity to work with Katie Jo through my position as Guidance

Secretary at Salmon Jr. Sr. High School. Katie Jo is amazing. Throughout the past four years she

has proved to be an asset to our high school athletics and community sports programs. She has

served in multiple school organizations, serves her community; all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

You will never hear Katie Jo speak an unkind word. She always has a positive attitude and a

smile on her face.

When Katie Jo sets a goal for herself, you know that she will do everything in her power

to accomplish it. The past four years, Katie Jo has earned multiple awards for her efforts in Cross

Country and Track and Field. As a long-distance runner, she has also led her teams to winning

District and State Championships in 2017. During the winter months, she proves herself on the

ice on the Salmon Hockey team and in summer with the Salmon Soccer team. Even if she is sick

or fighting an injury, she does everything in her power to be there for her teammates.

Katie Jo is a member of the Drug Free Youth, Link Crew, Legacy Choir, and the National

Honor Society. She upholds a higher standard for herself and does not conform to the pressures

and expectations from her peers. She knows what is important in life. She has a desire to serve in

the above capacities, as well as, in her church.

Katie Jo recognizes that education is a gift. She has worked hard to achieve her 4.0 GPA

while taking numerous Dual Credit, AP, and Honors courses. If she has a question, she is not
afraid to ask. Throughout her four years of High School Katie Jo has earned multiple certificates

for outstanding achievement.

Katie Jo has been a joy to work with. There is a bright future in store for her! The goals

and hard work that she has accomplished throughout her high school career have prepared her

for the next steps in life. Her positive attitude and continued acts of kindness will add to her

success. I highly recommend Katie Jo for any position or honor that she may be applying for. If
