The barangay Supa San Jose, Antique has a total of 1,439 in population since the year 2015.
Conversely, the age group with the lowest population of 75 to 79, with 7 individuals according to
the 2015 Census. However, among the population of the community selected were there are 48
youth dependents to every 100 of the working age population wherein there are 7 aged senior
citizens to every 100 of the working population, which is overall of 55 dependents of young and
old age to every 100 of the working population.
The barangay Supa San Jose, Antique has lacking dump site for the populations’ wastes. Mostly,
an individual’s occupation within the community are farmer, construction workers, and some are
government employees. The community has less unemployed individuals than employed
individuals. Somehow, there were some families which can’t afford the costs of education
resulting in a child’s early age of venturing into work and the hardships of life.
Advocating the issue of the community of Supa San Jose, Antique will further help our
community to develop well and motivates our fellow citizens for a change, be motivated in
participating in barangay activities to reduce particular issues that influences the development of
the community regarding on health, environment, and safety.

Every individual’s within the community of barangay Supa San Jose, Antique are affected by the
problems being addressed.
The problem occurred within the community is mostly due to some individual’s un-disciplinary
actions, the officials neglecting their own responsibilities, lacking socializing with people,
gathering only once to discuss the issue, and actions are not properly implemented. Also, the lack
of attention in the environment gave rise to problems that has cause inconsistencies mostly to
every families in the community.
The problem main causes are people’s wastes that are not properly segregated, un-disciplined
citizens, and doesn’t gave importance about the law of Republic Act 9003 of Ecological Solid
Waste Management Act.
Every individual in the community has concerns regarding garbage’s being dumped alongside
the waterway due to peoples’ neglect responsibilities. The impact of the addressed problems and
the future consequences are likely to influence the human health due to the receiving end result
of the environmental degradation. The areas exposed to toxic air pollutants can cause respiratory
problems. However, the impact of unemployed individuals in the community include poverty,
homelessness, debt, family tensions, breakdown, and increase rates of crimes.
The ways that the problems can be solved are encourage the countrymen to participate in the
barangay’s activities that contributes to changes within our environment. Initially, to coordinate
with the leaders or officials about the issues occurring within the community. Every individual
must take precautions on their own trash, citizens are encouraged to be mindful of their
surroundings. Each individuals must cooperate in cleaning the surroundings, unclogging trashes
from the ditch, throwing garbage in their designated place, encourage citizens to attend
orientations for the purpose of sharing knowledge and applying good things to take actions for
our environment and for our people that learned from the community. The barangay will make a
garbage pit only for the recycle materials and be distributed in each street of the barangay, if the
pits is full the youth’s will collect the plastics and develop a project name “from trash to arts”,
whereas it is considered as a creative project and could also useful in the citizens. If the project
will be successful, it will again be recommended for the next generation of youths to continue
protecting our environment rather to say the world. We need to make the first step so that others
will also follow. It’s time for a better change.

The adolescence pregnancy is one of the strongest evidence that supports my definition about the
problem within our community due to lack of education, and the rapid spread of mosquitos
which carries the dengue disease that affected every individuals’, mostly children’s. Often
children are affected by the problems within the community.
