Evaluate:
Summary:
According to Chiao et al., (2020) indicate that physical attributes of the candidates
also contribute to the sexual stereotypes, male is superior to females, which leads to voters
voting to male candidates then female. As this is the bases of the question as according to
Oxley (2016) different ideologies also contributes and, in some cases, favors the female
candidates as they can influence the people through their ideology. indicating that other
factors are in need to reconsider as according to Carroll & Fox (2018) even in women
candidacy election result and outcomes depend on the campaign support as colored women
holds only minority support over white women. And according to Van Der Pas & Aaldering
(2020) Media depiction of candidates in multiple media also sparks gender bias However
according to Mcelrory & Marsh (2009) the Irish voters does not refer to the gender biased
but through the capabilities of the leaders as leadership to them is important then the
stereotype.
The significance of the research question “How does gap affects the voter’s decision
on voting electing candidates” is that this research will help in giving deep insight of why
does voters prefer male candidates over the female candidates and what are the factor and
preferences that the voters have in mind that result to such decision. the methodologies that
the research would like to conduct is a form of survey and these surveys will be distributed to
the two groups the registered voters in the campus which is college students and the senior
voters or Different personnel in the LNU Cafeteria and the two groups will have 10 randomly
selected people to answer the survey. the survey will consist of the known 5 characteristics
of elected candidate in both gender and a black box for the participant’s own preference and
the analysis of the data will be based on correlation research tool as the data that was given
in the survey will be correlated with the answers of the participants as to present if there is a
relationship between the 2 variables and will be presented on a bar graph
