The work environment


 Overall assessment of employee working attitude and work
performance

All modern professional kitchens run according to a strict hierarchy, in order to


ensure the whole operation runs as smoothly as possible.

In our kitchen we do not have that positions but we have head chefs in the
kitchen, they assure that everything goes well. We also have the chefs that helps
us in the kitchen and to instruct us on what things we need to do. They are the
one who guides us on what is right to wrong like the cuttings, how to prepare,
how this works, how to cook the dish and etc.

There are also stewards in the kitchen who are so kind, jolly especially kuya mac,
and understanding. Every time they clean the kitchen, mops the floor and wash
the dishes there is always a new batch. And I know they need to finish it before
going home. I salute them for not complaining and keeps on smiling even me
itself I can see that they are so tired.

They always make sure that we are not hungry and if we are okay especially chef
Rey. Sometimes they push us to go to eat even though they know that we just
entered the kitchen. They are also very understanding like allowing us to finish
our school requirements even if we are on our shift.

I can say that all the employees are so patient and kind just to teach us what we
need to learn and show us what we need to do in the near future. We finish our
tasks on time because of them and I also admire them for not getting angry even
though we can feel that they are irritated with are actions or mistakes, instead
telling us that to be better next time.
