Characteristics:
-The garments made with SMS are a microbial barrier, since the fabric itself is
capable of blocking materials from the pathogenic germs of the fluids due to their
hydrophobic property, their efficiency being greater than 92%.
-The SMS is a material with a great resistance to tearing and has an excellent
elongation, which guarantees mobility without risks, with a weight of 10-70 gr /
meter2.
-The SMS is hypoallergenic, soft to the touch and air permeable.
-For these and other reasons, the SMS is the most used material in the preparation
of all types of medical clothing.

 The Meltblown is composed of a very dense fiber network and is used for
filtration applications (of particles, bacteria and fluids). The SMS is a fabric
with three layers, a layer of Meltblown, which is fixed between two layers of
Spunbond .
 By making this 3-layer "sandwich", an improved fabric is obtained since the
good properties of both types of fabrics are combined and added together.

 This is achieved by combining the appropriate thicknesses or weights in

both types of fabric and placing the meltblown layer in the center and the
external spunbonded layers
