Strength

-       Sambal abc brand is a well-known product throughout Indonesia.

-       Sambal abc is sold in every grocery store in Indonesia.

-       The shelf life of sambal abc is five years, this allows the product to be widely
distributed without constant rotation.

-       Sambal abc can be used in many different diets.

Weakness

-       Sambal abc is produced in only one location, making it difficult to relocate of build
new facilities.

-       There advertising is relied on word of mouth advertising. There budget does not
have the funds to introduce new products.

Opportunities

-       With their reputation marketing can be geared to those who enjoy hot foods.

-       The introduction of new products will have an already large fan base willing to try
the newer items.

-       Men from the ages of 25-50 use hot sauces more frequently. Marketing should be
geared toward this group.

Threats

-       There is a large growing market for hot sauces.

-       Many competitors are able to advertise more efficiently.
