The report presents details about mobile phone use by a sample group
of male and female teenagers. All parents think that teens today spending so
much time on the Internet especially social media. Accordingly, I decided to
do a survey to find out if this was true.

A number of 1000 young people between ages 13 and 17 took our

online survey and answered all questions in order to know about what they use
phones for. When I asked how many of them had mobile phones, all the
teenagers who took the survey said they had one. I also asked them how often
they used their mobile phones. All of them answered that they used it regularly.
My main interest in fact was in what ways they used their phones:

Fifty two percent of teens questioned said that they went online ‘almost
every day’; while 48% of them told me that they went online weekly. 92%
reported that they used social media; while just 8% of teens said that they used
their phones to study. 72% of girls said that they used Instagram however, 84%
of boys said they preferred to use Facebook. 60% of boys said that they
watched videos on YouTube while 68% of girls spent most of time on
snapchat. The graph displays our findings in detail.
