1. Nature Unbound
From the solitude of the perfect boulder, lies a picturesque
scene, an exquisite aquarium, blue waterfall. Cutting
through the lush green mountains is the soothing blue
waterfall.
Before the waterfall, the river simply meanders
through the mountains gently, until it arrives at rather
steep mountains and the flood gates open. Then, it flows
swiftly, surrounded by weathered, eroded rocks and thick
green moss on either side.
The waterfall proceeds to empty itself into a pool on
ground level. The water splashes everywhere, the boulders
and the vegetation. The pool is clean as a whistle and its
edges are as still as it can be. A mere look at this breath-
taking scene brings relief to a troubled mind. At the edge
of the pool are naturally eroded rock formations. One
towards the extreme left, looks like a camel. Another one
close to it looks like a new born baby in a cradle. To the
right are two elephants, holding their trunks up together
with love as mutual as that of Romeo and Juliet. They are
as pretty as a picture.
The floor is covered in moss, mushrooms and
toadstools. The endless vista of mountains, the Atlantis
blue waterfall panorama is magnificent in every aspect.
The view is to die for. The water just below shows a
beautiful picture of something strange but unique. Typical
east European houses are stacked to form a straight
arrow.
However, they are upside down but of course, it is a
reflection. The houses are painted in a rainbow of colours,
touching every peak of the spectrum.
The waterfall will leave you transfixed and fascinated,
falling head over heels. Its outstanding beauty will leave a
lasting impression on anybody. The majestic, outstanding
mountains are royal kings and their luminous, thick shade
of green is part of the lovely picture. They stretch for miles
and miles. The fresh, moist air is apparent and welcome. It
can be a place to get away from the stress of everyday life,
a place to make a decision or a place to calm the soul.
2. A Place that made an impression on me

A place that always had an impression on me was my

bedroom in my old house. It was a wonderful place that
contains a lot of memories. This place is meaningful to me
because it is part of the house I lived in, part of the house
where I grew up and is part of my childhood.
The place where I felt the most comfortable and
showed my personality was my bedroom. This is the place
where one could really be themselves and do what they
want. It’s the place where one could be in when they come
home, and wakes up everyday when the clock yells at one
every morning. My room makes me feel comfortable
because it was my own space. It was a special place where
one could always escape the outside world and
concentrate on other important thongs in life.
When walking into my room, one could quickly
notice the tingly feeling of the fluffy black coloured carpet
caressing their naked feet as if they were at the beach
standing on the shoreline allowing the cool waves to
splash through their coarse toes.
The smell of apple cinnamon siften through
one’s nose from the air freshner attached to the wall. The
noise the air conditioner made every five minutes going,
‘brr, brr’ annoyed me. One of the first things that always
stood out after walking into the room was the four
symmetrical beige walls which were accented with vibrant
hues and pictures of happy times gone but not forgotten.
These were few of the reasons why it had an
impression on me. My room had a huge influence on me,
it gave me inspiration as one was always at cloud nine. It
felt like the whole world was on mute when one locked
their bedroom door. It never failed to keep me safe and
sound. It taught me so many lessons that I will never
forget. It was a great blessing to me, and I really
appreciate to have it.
3. The Hallways
The hallways of my high school tattooed me with a
memory of the place I spent most of my time at, with all
sorts of emotions roaming my head and all kinds of
students roaming its space. The halls were crowded with
people, and the chaos was perfect like a movie.
The school hallway stank. The odor of the stale urine
curled from under the restroom doors, depressingly mixed
with deodorant and body odor in equal measure. It must
have been designed by a manic depressive, either that or
someone overly obsessed with grey. On one end, there
were the jocks just doing their own thing, and opposite
them, the parade of the band geeks where I precariously
met my best friend.
The bell rings and students shove their
Christopher Columbus notes along with their test; they
most probably got a ‘c’ on, into the bottom of their worn
out backpacks. The despair on their furious faces oozed
out of their pores, their expressions still so vivid. A look or
even a glance, at them, motivates one to do better, so
they better, so they never have to frown and squeeze their
eyebrows at a paper like they did ever.
Every few steps, one finds themselves slowing
down, stopping, sidestepping and bumping in to someone,
every stomp echoing with nervousness that you couldn’t
help but feel like a bundle of nerves.
The halls are dressed in black and white and a
whole walk sends a chill down my spine, reminding me of
something out of my nightmares, because of the
overwhelming thought.
Along the walls are balloons pinned on with
cheap tacks, many of them are already withering. I learnt
that if walking down this runway with confidence meant
there is nothing one cannot accomplish. Attitude turns a
stinky hallway to a motivating runway.
