Points: 15 (Children will be given points on the basis of their presentation of the work, that is submitted to
me)
Objectives:
1. Children will able to add two numbers.

2. Children will able to know the process of addition.

Materials Required: Copy, pencil,and mobile / laptop.

Activity Details
Step 1: At first, Parents will sit with the child in a comfortable place and inform them that you will be
learning addition (+).
Step 2: Next, Parents will inquire the child if he/she can remember what it means as they had learnt in the
virtual class.
Step 3: Then, parents will inform him/ her about the addition. Addition means putting together. Then parents
will take any material like corn, gram, peas etc to give some example. Parents will take some amount
of peas in one hand and some in other hand then put all peas together and tell them the meaning of
putting together. ( Parents can teach them as in the virtual class with the help of hanger and the pegs)
.
Step4: Then, Parents will help them in the process of addition. Parents will do one example in a copy.
Parents will draw some pictures according to both numbers and for putting together they have to put
all in a circle and count the total.
Step5: Then, parents will give any six addition to do where he/ she has to use the process they had just learn
by their parents or in the virtual class.

After the activity, parents will write few sentences regarding how their child performed? Did the child
recognized the symbol of addition? Did the child able to add two numbers? Did the child using the process of
addition? Parents can also give them points out of 15 and send it to me.
