SimNow Link is a part of the da Vinci
Surgery Community
• Access to SimNow Link requires that
the user already has a da Vinci Surgery
Community account
If you already have a da Vinci Surgery
account, proceed to step 3
Otherwise, click on [Join the Community] to
create a new account

2. Complete the da Vinci Surgery
registration form

There are two pages of

information to complete.
• Click [Next] at the end
of each page

All required fields are

indicted by a red asterix
• National Provider Indentifier
is not required
• A photo is not required

3. Sign in to the da Vinci
Surgery Community
Click on [Sign In] to login with
your da Vinci Surgery account
Enter your Username (email address)
and Password
• If you forget your password, you can click on
[Forgot Password] to start the password
recovery process

4. Accept Terms of Service

Read and scroll through

the terms of service

Click on [I Agree] to confirm

acceptance of the terms of service
• If user chooses not to agree with the Terms
of Service, then he/she will not be able
to access da Vinci Surgery Community nor
SimNow Link

5. Access SimNow Link and
accept the TOS
Click the [SimNow Link] banner Accept the Terms of Service
at the top of the page for SimNow

6. Complete the
SimNow Link
User Profile
Associate your account to a hospital:
• This is performed by entering the Simulator
Serial Number for the simulator you plan to use.
This number can be found on the login page of
the simulator after it has been networked
• The Simulator User Name is your alias that
appears on simulators that you use
• The 4-digit PIN is the passcode used to login to
the actual simulator when using your Simulator
User Name

7. Set Your Default Privacy
Settings

There are two user privacy settings:

• Notifications: Enabling this allows SimNow
Link to send email notifications on useful
information such as when nearing impending
assignment due dates.
• Leaderboard Visibility: Enabling this allows the
users Simulator User Name to be displayed
on the SimNow Link Leaderboard. Otherwise,
an <anonymous> tag will be placed.
