ABSTRACT

High Entropy alloys (HEAs) are an emerging class of materials capable of a

wide range of structural properties and Additive manufacturing (AM) a novel
manufacturing process capable of localized process control. The combination of
HEAs with metal additive manufacturing (AM) has the potential for tailoring
the component for a wide range of applications. In this research, a dataset is
developed for AM processed alloys. Machine learning algorithms are employed
on the dataset to identify strength and composition relationships. Thereafter,
predictions are made for additively manufactured HEAs and validated with
available literature data.
