In the beginning, many kings from different ethnic groups had their own tribe and own kingdom before
unification. After the unification, Nepal had been ruled by different kings and Rana's but after the
changed restrictions of the king, Nepal is officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Nepal is a
country with rich tourism potential. Apart from its magnificent natural beauty and scenery, the country’s
rich cultures and many more tourists used to travel every year to find multiples of cultural practices in
Nepal. There are more than 101 ethnic groups as a recent survey shows that and it’s much more
interesting and make people wonder because Nepal is much small country have 1,47,181 Sq. KM

Nepal is separated into three layers, according to its geographical settings - Himalayan region, Hills, and
Terai region (flat land). Himalayan region is the homeland of renowned Sherpa’s, who are legendary for
climbing mountain Everest. Hills of Nepal are inhabited by many hill tribes of Nepal like Gurung, Magar,
Rai, Limbu, Tamang, Chettris, Brahmins, Newars, etc. Diverse Ethnic groups include their own sovereign
culture; approach of committed religion, language, music, gastronomy, and dance, and their
architectural settlement is discrete to each other. Chettries (Khas) and Brahmins are Hindus by religions
and historians standing they are antique settlers of Karnali region of Nepal and Newars, being native the
Kathmandu Valley, are rich in metal works, arts, crafts, and construction of castles temples. Terai is the
home of Tharu tribes, and of Madhesis. They have idiosyncratic cultures and existence, though their
social life is inclined by Aryan culture and Hindu religion. The tradition, custom, art, and language
resemble the ancient Aryan culture and civilization. Being a hot province of Nepal, people of Terai region
wear light, cotton, clothes, but, yet, works hard during the day time.
