Unilever is a British multinational consumer goods company.

Their products are nutritious foods,

household care essentials, indulgent ice creams, refreshing teas, luxurious shampoos, soaps, and more.

Knorr Chicken Cubes is one of their products. They advertise this product in the Philippines with cultural
sensitivity. They showcase different cultures/norms and practices that the Filipinos have.

We Filipinos are known to have "salo-salo," in every celebration we have, especially Holidays where all
family and relatives gather together to eat food. Different countries have different kinds of food. In the
Philippines, we are known for our adobo, sinigang, and other delicacies. Food is the one that brings us
together. This is shown in the advertisement. Adobo was also featured in the ad.

We have this belief and practice that we will take care of our parents when they are old. As much as
possible, we do not want to send our parents to the Home of the Aged and have other people take care
of them. This characteristic is also seen in the advertisement where the whole family eat together and
their parents are also present.

The Philippines is a Christian country. Almost 90% are Christians, wherein 80.6% belong to Roman
Catholic. As Christians, we always celebrate Christmas, and we are known to start the Christmas season
as early as September. We have parols, belen, and Noche Buena; we even perform Caroling from house
to house and attend Simbang Gabi.
