What are the benefits of learning to code?

Coding is revolutionizing today’s world - be it the modern financial system, self-driving cars,
automation of production lines, social media and more. Coding is much more than just writing
commands into a computer: coding aids in an overall development of the brain, teaches
academic skills like computational thinking and builds crucial soft skills like perseverance and
organization. It establishes valuable 21st century skills that will help children become ready for
the future.

Do you have a free trial?

Toppr Codr provides a free trial class to give you an idea of how our classes are conducted. If
your child enjoys the class, you can then enrol them for the course. Pay only on a per session
basis.

How can I book my free trial class?

In order to book a free trial class, please go to ryangroup.toppr.school/codr. Login as a student

with your Enrollment number and password. Click on book-a-demo.
If you have an existing Toppr Codr or Toppr Learning App account:
1. Sign-in
2. Pick a date and time
3. Click on Go to Codr
4. Login on the Codr page with OTP or Password
5. You will see your booked slot in your Codr Dashboard and you can join the class 5
minutes before the class start time
If you do not have an existing Toppr Codr or Toppr Learning App account:
1. Create an account with the phone number that you want to link to Codr
2. Verify with OTP
3. Click on Go to Codr
4. Login on the Codr page with OTP
5. You will see your booked slot in your Codr Dashboard and you can join the class 5
minutes before the class start time

Where will the classes be conducted?

Toppr Codr classes are 1-on-1 Live online video classes and can be taken from anywhere as
per convenience
What are the requirements needed to attend these classes?

A laptop or a desktop with a decent internet connection to join the Live class.

What is the time and schedule of the class conducted?

Each session of a Toppr Codr class is of one hour. Students can choose their timings according
to their needs. We recommend two classes per week.

What are the cancellation/refund policies?

The subscription can be cancelled anytime. We have no questions asked, refund policy. There
are zero cancellation charges and you only pay for the classes that you have attended.

Who are the teachers?

We select teachers through a rigorous multi-step selection process. The teachers go through a
Toppr Codr training and certification process that ensures only the best teachers teach our
students during our live online classes. Our teachers go through continuous learning and
development once they come on-board. We guarantee that every teacher is well trained to
ensure excellent results for our students.

How is the Toppr Codr curriculum structured?

Toppr Codr is structured according to different skill levels. Students can learn basic to advanced
concepts of the course selected.

Will students receive a certification after the course?

Students will receive a Toppr Codr certified white belt upon successful completion of 16 classes,
a yellow belt upon completion of 32 classes. Students will be awarded a certificate of
recognition upon successful completion of their course (48 classes) and will be upgraded to a
green belt skill level.

Which computer languages do you teach?

Toppr Codr teaches children to code by starting with the basics of block-based programming to
Python and advanced AI/ML. With Codr, students gain experience writing real code using the
same tools as real coders. We have unique ways of making our courses accessible to absolute
beginners as young as age 6.
What real concepts will my child learn in Toppr Codr courses?

Our curriculum will teach booleans, conditionals, loops, variables, methods, arrays, switch
statements, functions, and more. Toppr Codr classes also help boost students’ proficiency in
mathematics, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Will these courses be too hard for young students?

Our courses are designed for children as young as 6. By making use of game-based learning
approaches, the course allows children to grasp difficult concepts with ease. Our teachers are
trained specifically to ensure that young students understand concepts and can independently
apply them to create their own apps/games.

What are your support hours?

Toppr Codr offers prompt support from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm IST. We can also
schedule appointments during off hours.

What is the validity of the package?

All Toppr Codr classes are on demand and can be scheduled as per your
convenience. There is no expiry date of the package.

What happens if I miss my class?

There is no concept of missed classes since there is no fixed schedule. Students can pick time
slots as per their convenience. Students can choose to pause the classes for important things
like examinations and vacations. They can resume once they are ready to begin again. All of
this can be done directly by the students from their own codr dashboard.
