Scott Newstock believes that while computers are efficient and can transmit information easily, it cannot

transmit the same knowledge of face to face learning. He also believes that while he prefers close
learning, that does not dismiss technology, as there is a connection between technology and close
learning. As Scott Newstock presents his opinion, I would agree with his stance as I do believe that close
learning is significantly more different than learning with a computer, and you cannot receive the same
amount of knowledge through a computer. We can acknowledge the advantages that technology has to
learning and learning outside of the classroom such as communicating via email with a teacher, or using
the internet as a resource. However, being in person is an entirely different way of learning, where it
feels more personal and that you have a better opportunity to learn.
