Display Independent Requirement

Definition:-

Demand Management main function is to determine requirement


quantities and delivery dates for finished products and its dependent
requirements.

Demand management used to create demand program apart from


customer requirements which are created through sales order
management. To create a demand program, Demand Management
uses planned independent requirements and customer requirements.

Planned independent requirements are used to perform Demand


Management functions. A planned independent requirement contains
one planned quantity and one date, or a number of planned
independent requirements schedule lines, that is, one planned
quantity split over time according to dates.

Objective :-

It is required to display the plan maintained in the Planned


Independent Requirement. This document will help one to check the
PIR through display mode.

Prerequisites:-

Plan in PIR

0. Press Twice MC63 Display

Display Planned Independent Requirements: Initial Screen


0. Press radio button next to Material

0. Update the following required and optional fields:

Field Name Values


Plant Enter your Plant
number.

Material Enter your material


number.
0. Press radio button All active/inactive versions .

0. Press Enter .

0. Select the required material, for example, 22000902

0. Press tab Items .

0. Press tab Sched. Lines .


0. Press to compare one version of Independent Requirements
with another version

0. Enter the version you want to compare with the current version
in the field REQUIREMENTS PLAN, for example, 02.
0. Press Continue Button .

0. Press the Back .

0. Select the menu path EditCompa re reqs


with...Consumption to compare plan with actual consumption.

0. Press the Back until you return to the SAP Easy Access
Screen.
