How to Install

Lightroom Profiles

Lightroom
versions 1.3 + (not Lightroom Classic)
A Note for Lightroom Mobile Users

This tutorial will guide you through the desktop


installation then the mobile sync.
Mobile
1. Prepare your profiles folder
Download and unzip your profiles folder.
2. Prepare Lightroom for import
Launch Lightroom as your normally would and open
an existing image.
From the top menu bar, click File and select
Import Profiles & Presets.
3. Import your new profiles
Select the unzipped folder containing your presets
and click Import.

Note: You can instead select the zip file itself OR


the folder you want to install, all methods will
work.
4. Navigate to profiles in Lightroom
From the right toolbar, click the Edit icon.
Click the Profile dropdown menu and click Browse
All Profiles…
5. Locate your new profiles
Find and expand the profiles you just imported.
6. Hover & Select
Simply place your cursor over each of the profiles
for a preview of the effect. Click a profile to apply it
to the image.
7. Try any profile with any photo!
At any point you can return to the Profile menu to
choose a different profile or set it back to it’s original,
even after making Lightroom adjustments and
applying presets.
From the toolbar on the right, click the Edit icon
then click the Browse All Profiles icon.
8. Sync Lightroom Mobile (optional)
If you’re using Lightroom with a subscription, you can
use your new profiles on the Lightroom Mobile app.
Launch your Lightroom Mobile app from your device.
From the top menu bar, click the Cloud icon.
9. Make sure you’re syncing
Ensure you have syncing enabled. If you do, the top
of the cloud menu will say Synced and Backed Up.
If you are not syncing, make sure you are signed in by
tapping Settings (gear icon) from the top menu bar.
10. Start editing
From the top menu bar, tap Library (books icon) and
select a photo.
Slide the bottom tool bar all the way to the right then
tap Profiles.
11. Find your profiles
Lightroom automatically opens the last used profiles.
Minimize this by tapping the arrow next to the folder.
Tap the profile folder you’d like to use.
12. Use your profiles
Tap the profile to apply it to your image! Tap the
checkmark to save it.
13. Revert or change the profile
At any point you can return to the Profile menu to choose a
different profile or set it back to it’s original, even after making
Lightroom adjustments and applying presets.

To do this, tap the arrow next to the profile folder and select the
Basic profile folder to revert (or a new one to change profiles),
then select the Color or Monochrome profile - whichever applies.
