REMEMBER:
Evil exists when we chose to sin. We commit sin when we refuse to do good or when we do
harm to others & to ourselves. Sin makes us unhappy because it destroys our relationship with God & our fellowmen.
We can be reconciled to God through the sacrament of Reconciliation.

When we sin, we feel lonely and empty. We do not experience

the presence of God. To be reconciled with God, we need to
TRANSFER seek His mercy and love through prayer and confession.
The Act of Contrition is a prayer expressing one’s sorrow for sins
committed. Read it silently and pray it fervently.

ACT OF CONTRITION

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to
do good, I have sinned against You whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend
with Your help to do penance, to sin no more and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our saviour Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In His name, my God, have mercy.

Values Integration : FAITH

We believe that God is our Loving Creator and ask Him to forgive our sins.
