-when looking for some important details in a medium, just remember this 6 steps to enhance
your media literacy.
Step 1: When looking for some important info, take current and relevant examples from media
(news, ads, TV, movies, magazines, books, the web, etc.) In particular of research, eagerly look
at the site’s (URL) when searching. Some web sites amiss us, therefore to avoid, look at the
site’s exactly to what you are looking for to avoid misinformation.
Step 2: Detecting false information. You cannot assured to not look for one (1) medium, it is
much better to look more than one medium and do your comparison and contrast between the
info that you are looking and see the differences. It can also detect biases.
Step 3: Consider the purpose of the information you are viewing.
Step 4: Draw a conclusion about the viewpoint or position being presented.
Step 5: Critical thinking is a must. Therefore, always analyze and evaluate well the information.
Step 6: Another way would be, is to watch videos of other educators teaching media literacy.
Step 7: And for the last step, this is the most preferable steps that would enhance your media
literacy is to study the core concepts. It will more improves your media literacy as well as the
