 Corona Virus
Causes
The corona virus disease (COVID-19) is caused by a
virus not by bacteria. The virus that causes COVID-19 is in a
family of virus called coronaviridae. Antibiotics doesn’t work
against these viruses.
Symptoms
Symptoms of corona virus disease (COVID-19) may
appear from 2 to 14 days after exposure. The common
symptoms are: -
 Fever
 Cough
 Tiredness
 Loss of taste or smell
 Difficulty in breathing
 Sore throat
 Headache
 Chest pain
Prevention
Although there is no vaccine available to prevent
COVID-19, we can take some steps to reduce risk of
infection. Following are the preventive measure for COVID-
19: -
 Avoid close contact (within about 6ft or 2meters)
 Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least
20 seconds.
 Cover your face with a face mask in public places.
 Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
 Drink plenty of turmeric water.
