    I. Japanese Writing System

    I.1. Hiragana- the more cursive and more widely used form of kana (syllabic writing) used in
    Japanese, especially used for function words and inflections.
    Group 2 Syllables

    Examples:

    1. konbanwa is pronounced as /kombanwa/


    kanpai - /kampai/

    2. konnichiwa - /konnichiwa/
    3. ongaku - /onggaku/
    ogenki -/ogengki/
