B. Current status
A pandemic is defined as an epidemic occurring worldwide, or over a very wide area,
crossing international boundaries and usually affecting a large number of people.
Presently the entire world is going through a major pandemic namely “The
Coronavirus” or “COVID-19 “ which has exerted enormous pressure globally and
forced a host of changes to how we live and work since the first quarter of 2020.

C. Way of research
Inductive research “involves the search for pattern from observation and the
development of explanations – theories – for those patterns through series of
hypotheses.

D. Hypothesis
A pandemic is a calamity that globally effects the entire nation and fizzles out with
time after the desired antidote is discovered but leaves a long lasting effect on the
current and generations to come .
