Exercise 9.1 Write a reflection paper (150-200 words) on the impact and importance of
critical thinking in the different decision-making techniques.
A human being is capable of making their own decisions with the use of intellect.
However, these decisions are hardly right or practical, especially during our teenage years, where
maturity still develops, and choices are highly focused on worldly pleasures rather than spiritual
and intellectual ones. With the help of these decision-making techniques, we’re able to see how
decision-making process are supposed to look. These will guide us to come up with the best
choice, that not only benefits us at the present, but as well as in the long-run.
Approaching to adulthood, I think this lesson is at its perfect and right timing. In our
early twenties, life gets messier, and messier; our plans don’t exactly turn out the way we
expected, and with decision-making techniques, we can easily adapt and change our routes for
the better. We can come up with better life choices, that aren’t only practical, but attainable as
well.
