Abortions should be heavily discouraged if not completely

banned in Canada. Abortion is a loss of human life where the still

developing fetus is just killed off. In a year, there are average
100,000 abortions in Canada alone. Can you imagine? 100,000
humans with their own qualities and traits had their opportunity to
live taken away. If you have an abortion, you will never get a
chance to meet that son or daughter. You might regret it later but
you’re still stuck with that regret of killing your child for the rest of
your life. That is why I think people should not be allowed to have
an abortion, you are taking another person’s chance of life away.
Also, there are many other alternatives if you can't be a parent.
Canada’s government provides a lot of aid to parents who need
help getting started. Associations such as planned parenthood
are all here to provide resources and advice on parenting. On top
of that if you still cannot raise the child, then you can let a family
member raise it, or even allow someone else to adopt the child
and raise it. WIth these solutions, abortions do not have to be
carried out and valuable human lives are wasted. Everyone
deserves a chance of life, therefore abortions should be banned.
