RE: Bilingual Elementary School Teacher

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the position of First Grade Bilingual Teacher at your
campus. When reviewing the job requirements and your website, I was excited to see that my
qualifications and personal traits align with your needs and mission.  I am confident in my ability
to be an asset to your campus.

I am a current educational major in EC-6 Bilingual Education at the University of Texas at El

Paso. I have had the pleasure in completing my observational hours at Mesita Elementary
School and Ysleta Elementary School. The guidance from the teachers provided me with a vast
amount of support and knowledge for my future career as a teacher. I have contributed
significantly to team projects through my collaborative efforts, employing collaboration and
critical thinking abilities.

I have had the opportunity to work with children from all grade levels, working as a substitute
teacher for the past five years. In my current position, I maintain a professional attitude as a
Special Education Paraprofessional providing individualized support for students. I have
effective communication skills, and I collaborate effectively in a team environment. I have a
tremendous love for children and place a high standard of learning. My skills in differentiated
instruction, assistive technology, and multi-sensory lesson planning has allowed me and guided
me to meet the needs of educational learning.

I have enclosed my resume for further review. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with
you and learn about the position.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Fabiola Medina
