In pregnant women

1. Provision of additional food for pregnant


women to overcome chronic lack of energy and
protein.
2. Programs to overcome iron deficiency and folic
acid.
3. Programs to overcome iodine deficiency.
4. Giving worm medicine to treat intestinal worms
in pregnant women.
5. Programs to protect pregnant women from
malaria.

In breastfeeding mothers and infants 0-6 months

1. Deliveries assisted by a trained midwife or doctor,


once the baby is born, perform Early Initiation of
Breastfeeding and breastfeeding (colostrum).
2. Infants up to the age of 6 months are given only
breast milk (exclusive breastfeeding).
3. Basic immunization, monitor growth and
development regularly every month, and treat sick
babies appropriately.

Infants age 6 months to 2 years

1. Encourage continued breastfeeding until the


age of 24 months accompanied by
complementary feeding.
2. Provide worm medicine.
3. Provide zinc supplementation.
4. Fortify iron into food.
5. Provides protection against malaria.
6. Provide complete immunization.
7. Prevent and treat diarrhea.
