AIRCRAFT FAMILIARIZATION CANADAIR REGIONAL JET OBJECTIVES This course is designed for Line Officers, Fire Fighters, and Emergency Response Personnel to review and familiarize themselves with emergency information pertaining to the Canadair Regional Jet in accordance with Canadair Regional Jet technical manuals. After attending this class personnel should be able to: > Identify, locate, and describe the operation of emergency doors and over-wing exits on board a Canadair Regional Jet. > Identify, locate, and describe the shutdown procedures for the interior systems found on a Canadair Regional Jet. + Identify, locate, and describe the shutdown procedures for the exterior systems found on a Canadair Regional Jet, Canadair Regional Jet - 1 OVERHEAD 1 I. GENERAL INFORMATION A. RESCUE DIMENSIONS 1. Average distance floor level to ground: Wheels retracted 1 foot 3 inches Wheels extended 5 feet 2.
