Pass Option/No Credit Option for Spring Term 2020

Undergraduate students will be allowed to exercise the option of a Pass/No Credit with a
maximum of three courses for the Pass grade as allowed by HEC regulations which allow a
Pass grade for a maximum of 3 courses during the entire undergraduate program.  The
grades for the Pass/No Credit courses will not be considered in the calculation of a
student’s GPA and CGPA.  Students opting for the Pass option for a course will be required
to have completed all of the requirements of that course including the final examination
and obtain a passing grade in order to receive credit for that course.  Students opting for
the No Credit option for a course will have to repeat the course. 

A minimum ‘C’ grade (GPA of 2.0) is required in an Undergraduate course for a student to
exercise the ‘Pass’ grade option in Spring Semester 2020.
Students exercising the Pass Grade /No Credit option will not be eligible for consideration for a
Gold Medal (representing the first position in the class).
Students who exercise this Pass Grade option may be considered for the Deans Honor’s List
based on their actual grades and GPA in each course.Students who exercise the No Credit option
will not be eligible to be considered for the Deans Honor’s List.
