Vision 2040
Philippines
Explanation:
In 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the
Environmental Goals, were adopted by the Member States of the United
Nation. The 17 SDGs are interconnected and acknowledge that action in one
region can influence other areas' results and that growth needs to balance
social, economic, and environmental sustainability. Through the pledge to
Leave No Behind, Countries including Philippines have committed to fast
-track progress for those furthest behind first. That is why the SDGs are
designed to bring the world to several life-changing ‘zeros’, including zero
poverty, hunger, AIDS and discrimination against women and girls. I drew
this drawing because I believe that the Philippines can achieve these
sustainable goals. We all know that our country is poor and has a lot of
debts. However, Philippines are always updated in technologies including
social medias, gadgets etc. And Philippines is rich on natural resources which
we can make a source of our country development. Manila has already lots
of buildings and infrastructures so I am expecting that there will be more
infrastructure and buildings that people can build in 2040. That is why, I
drew this artwork.
