The main issue in this essay is on how to identify or what are the qualities of an educated man.

The writer stresses that being educated is relevant to one’s view. But he, the writer, shares what is
meant by being educated man for him. He points out that an educated man knows how to handle
situation effectively. He also stresses out that one should have a calm and humble character all
throughout, may it be good or in bad times.

3. The relevance of the essay to the reader:

The essay is timely, it serves me as a reminder to be an “educated man”. That given with unfortunate
events, I must be in control and on top of the situation without losing my calm and humble character.
