Greenhouse

i) Real-time processing. This is because the data is continuous and because the system allows
the sensors to immediately dispatch a memo, so that the control program adjusts the
temperatures at any given point in time. Such a processing system reduces the possibility of
tampering with the plant’s requirements, making it easier to withhold.
ii) Depending on the plants in each greenhouse, the house has to fit the needs of each plant
and temperatures may vary for each plant. So farmers buy heaters and arrange for the
temperature needed for the plants. Heat is vital for a greenhouse to function therefore having a
heater to regulate the temperatures is necessary.
iii)Wind turbines harness the power of the wind and use it to generate electricity. Instead
of using electricity to make wind turbines use wind to make electricity. The wind turns
the blades, which in turn spins a generator to create electricity. A benefit of using wind
energy in greenhouses is reducing greenhouse electricity costs. Wind energy does not
emit any greenhouse gases, and has an extremely good energy balance.
iv) If a new plant is to be grown the programming system has to be updated and a new
type of plant has to be added to old data. So when the system is checking for new
results it will also check for the new plants being grown in that greenhouse. It must also
be altered to the plant’s desired condition as for it to grow.
