Yarra Libraries’ audiobooks
moving from RBdigital to Libby
The same great audiobook content on a new platform
Digital audiobooks previously available through the RBdigital app will be moved to the
award-winning Libby reading app in early 2021.

Contents
OverDrive, the leading digital reading platform for libraries worldwide and creator of the
Libby app, recently acquired RBdigital and will begin to sunset the RBdigital app in 2021.

Members will find the same great audiobook content on Libby and can continue to use the
RBdigital app to enjoy digital magazines until further notice.

LATEST NEWS 1 After the transition to Libby, audiobooks checked out in the RBdigital app will be available
through the remainder of the lending period, so members can finish the title without
disruption. Holds will not be moved, but members can export their Transaction History
WRITING & LITERATURE 2 from the RBdigital app then borrow or place holds on those titles again in Libby.
