smartphone technology. Smartphones are now a mandatory requirement for everyone
to carry out various activities. With various existing features such as social media for

is business. Business is the activity of buying and selling goods or services for a profit.
In today's digital era, business people use social media as a means to start a business.
Big opportunities in the digital era are well utilized by business actors, starting from
business strategies and sales systems. this business is called an online business.

Online business or also known as buying and selling online. For consumers it is
considered easier and more practical because it does not take a long time and effort,
because purchases can be made from home, most importantly having internet access.
Meanwhile, online business producers are considered to save costs because they do
not need to rent a place, other than that promotions are carried out easily through online
media. The purpose of the online business itself is to improve the economy that is
personal, and make it easier for people to start a business.

with the aim of obtaining the maximum profit. Historically, business comes from the
word "busy" which means busy. What is meant here is being busy doing activities for
profit.

The business goal for producers is to make a profit in improving the economy which is

services from producers to meet their needs.

The elements in doing business are

1. Capital (money to produce or buy goods and services)

2. Materials (factors of production to produce goods)

3. Human resources (production factors to support goods production activities)

4. Management skills (ability management in managing and developing their


business)

Online business is an activity of buying and selling goods and services for profit,
using online or digital media facilities with internet access. Online business in
Indonesia has grown since the 2000s and now online stores have become one of
the largest markets in Indonesia. Business actors take advantage of online
businesses through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and
WhatsApp. In addition, many programmers have created online shopping
applications with benefits in the form of taxes for sellers who use the application.
Online shopping applications in Indonesia include Shopee, Lazada, BukaLapak, and
others.

Things that can be done when starting an Online Business are

A.   Determine which items to sell

sell items that are currently trending and have a wide market. The goods sold
have a small risk of failure. Learn the advantages and disadvantages of these
items.

B.   Conduct market surveys to

women.

accordance with the concept of the business you are going to run.

E.   Promotional activities

images and sentences that can make people interested in trying your product.

F.    Level of consumer satisfaction

When conducting trading activities, ask for reviews from consumers of the
products sold and the services provided. If the consumer is not satisfied,
correct it and apologize immediately. In addition, when consumers are
satisfied with the products and services provided. Make the message as
evidence in promotion.
Online businesses are considered to have advantages and disadvantages of each. The
advantages of buying and selling online such as saving energy and reducing fatigue,
saving time, easily comparing prices. If we look at the shortcomings of shopping online,
of course it will make us afraid to buy goods through social media. The drawback of
online shopping is that we cannot see, touch and make sure the items we are going to
buy are correct, because we only see through pictures. This, can lead to the emergence
of crime in buying and selling online. Many dishonest business actors use social media
to sell items that do not match the images provided. These actors take advantage of
customers for personal gain only without thinking about the impact received by
customers or consumers.

The best solution to dealing with the problem of online buying and selling fraud so that
we don't become victims is to make sure the shop or seller's account is correct. By
looking at the reviews provided by other consumers, we can find out the truth of the
seller's account. In addition, ensuring a payment system is very important, this is done
to avoid indications of fraud.

In buying and selling, there is an agreement as a form of agreement for the transaction.
Likewise, in online buying and selling, an agreement for the goods to be received is very
important so that consumers do not feel disadvantaged, such as being allowed to
exchange goods if the order received is not suitable.

out for. Many fraudulent business actors take advantage of online shopping for personal
